Congratulations to the New Orleans Hornets for winning the 2012 draft lottery first pick. Going into the lottery selection last night, they had a 13.7% chance at the #1 pick.
Michael Jordan’s Charlotte Bobcats had the NBA’s worst record (by far!) last year, and had a 25% chance of getting the top pick, but they’ll get pick #2 in the draft.
Completing the top 10 picks are the following:
3. Wizards
4. Cavaliers
5. Kings
6. Blazers
7. Warriors
8. Raptors
9. Pistons
10. Hornets
Kentucky freshman center Anthony Davis is widely expected to be the #1 pick in the draft. Yahoo Sports had an article with draft projections, and as is the norm lately, the top picks are dominated by underclassmen.
