It’s a sad state of affairs that the NBA and the Player’s Association can’t come together and get an agreement in place.

We’ve now reached another lockout.

I don’t know enough about the negotiations to know who is at fault or which side is being most unreasonable — I expect there is blame to go to both sides.

However, I do know that there will be repercussions if the two sides don’t come together and have a full NBA season next year —- repercussions in live attendance, TV viewership, merchandise sales and more.

The average person doesn’t have any sympathy for either the NBA or the Players Association — not with the dollar figures that they’re talking about for owner profits or player salaries.

Please folks, get your act together and come to an agreement.
